A little about us: Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC) is a 501(c)(3) charitable not-for-profit community service organization registered with the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bureaus of Charitable Organizations. We supply blood for an 800-square-mile area of eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. MKBC provides approximately 450 units of blood and blood products to seventeen local hospitals. We also provide blood service to regional dialysis facilities and supplemental healthcare facilities. MKBC is committed to our mission of providing a safe and adequate blood supply to the community we serve. We achieve this by focusing on quality, world-class performance, and continuously monitoring operations so that we can better respond to the local needs. Our dedication to our mission and goals is evident by the achievement of becoming the fourth not-for-profit community blood service organization nationwide to achieve ISO9002 certification, an internationally recognized quality management system standard.
